Before starting my own childcare, I taught in public preschool, and before/after school programs, for over 20 years. I have an Associates degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration on Early Childhood Administration. I'm licensed through the State of California to provide infant, toddler, preschool and school-age childcare from my family home. I’ve obtained my site supervisor’s permit from the state of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, as well as additional college units in Early Childhood Education Intervention training. I’m always eager to learn new tools and strategies that foster learning developments to meet the needs of the individual child. I’m the mother of two beautiful, smart, and creative daughters who also assist me in operating the family childcare. I’m delighted to have an opportunity to work alongside my daughters, and teach them with hands-on experience about the importance of early childhood education, and the rewarding joy it brings to witness children’s curiosity about the world around them. Language and literacy development, science, cognitive development, and physical activities are encouraged daily. We offer after school pick-up service for children that attend neighboring schools. Children may attend childcare for additional hours when their school is closed for pupil free days, and/or for spring and summer camp options.
